We’re passionate about using technology to simplify complex challenges. The Role We are seeking a GIS Analyst to join our growing company and team. This is a hands‑on opportunity, ideally for a new graduate, to apply your GIS knowledge in a real‑world, tech‑driven environment where your work directly supports the energy sector. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, initiative, and learning. What you’ll be doing Assist with data formatting, conversion, and standardization (e.g., shapefiles, CSVs, geodatabases) Maintain and update internal mapping layers used by our software tools Prepare and deliver customized geospatial data for clients Source and integrate data from both open‑source and subscription providers (e.g., Altalis) Clean, organize, and maintain geospatial datasets in internal systems Support mapping workflows for field operations, infrastructure, and pipeline integrity Collaborate with team members to ensure data quality, accuracy, and usability Who we are looking for Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geography, or a related field Experience with GIS mapping tools such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or other related software Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data from multiple sources Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn how GIS drives innovation in the energy sector A clear communicator who can work well independently and as part of a collaborative team What We Offer A competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits plan and a flexible health spending account Flexible paid time off and complimentary parking Career growth opportunities in an expanding company Regular team building events and in‑person socials with our Western Canadian offices An opportunity to work alongside an exceptional team of accomplished developers and executives, including the former CEO and co‑founder of GasBuddy.
