CyberClan investigates and assists clients with all types of security breaches, insider threat, unauthorized access and Summary / Objective The General Accountant is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, performing reconciliations, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across multiple entities while collaborating with internal teams. Responsibilities Perform daily bank reconciliations and clear outgoing transactions with supporting documentation. Investigate and resolve bank discrepancies; ensure accurate posting to accounts. Post payroll‑related journal entries and allocate expenses accurately for multiple entities, including benefit and departmental cost allocations. Record and adjust journal entries, including prepaid expenses and accruals; maintain supporting documentation. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities. Process billing and verify completeness and accuracy. Assist with revenue recognition and related compliance requirements. Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. Provide backup support for Accounts Payable (invoice processing, payments). Collaborate with Senior Accountant and other departments to ensure timely task completion. Handle ad‑hoc finance tasks as assigned. Required Skills and Experience 2–4 years of accounting experience. Experience with full cycle general accounting functions. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Business Central) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and good analytical, organizational skills. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Degrees or Certifications Bachelor’s in accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
