Reporting to Manager, Mobile Patron Server, the Junior Backend Developer - Golang’s primary mandate is to manage the installment and delivery of server for assigned property including support and troubleshooting any issues.

Responsibilities

  • Specify, design, architect, implement, test, deploy, and support mobile app solutions.
  • Build data services and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new and innovative features for future releases.
  • Understand customer technical architecture, install Patron Server, perform system integrations, assist in technical conversations with customers, and provide solutions that satisfy customer needs.
  • Provide technical assistance to customer-facing teams (Customer Success, Sales, etc.) li>
  • Implement solutions with Linux (Golang, MySQL) stack, and connect them to Enterprise CRM and operation management systems.
  • Actively lead discussions with customer IT teams and staff to ensure proper API usage.
  • Balance new implementations with maintenance/troubleshooting existing installations while improving the core infrastructure and code base.

Qualifications

  • Accredited education in computer science or similar fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of the Golang ecosystem and experience writing code for REST systems in that environment.
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance.
