J.D. Power, a leader in uniting industry data with technology to solve challenging problems, is looking for a Data Analyst. This role, within the Strategy & Analytics team, aims to enhance data handling for automotive insights. The Data Analyst contributes to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement within the content group.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  1. Develop, test, and maintain new and existing databases.
  2. Process complex SQL queries and reports accurately and promptly.
  3. Perform advanced analyses to understand key marketing metrics trends.
  4. Prioritize work to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
  5. Act as a data 'go to' person or subject matter expert for the department.
  6. Participate in policy development to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
  7. Represent the content department professionally to other teams.
  8. Serve as a role model within the Data Department.

This role requires you to have:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication.
  2. Ability to work under pressure and excel in changing environments.
  3. Strong self-management and analytical abilities.
  4. High accuracy and attention to detail.
  5. Self-motivated and team-oriented.
  6. Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Word.
  7. Time management skills.
  8. Experience as a Data Analyst for at least 3 years including SQL Development.
  9. Relevant experience in business intelligence, research, data analytics, or data science.
  10. Advanced SQL skills (PostgreSQL).
  11. Proficiency in QlikView and crafting data stories through reports and visualizations.
