The successful candidate will be reporting to our management and product development teams to collaborate, design, innovate, integrate, and validate robotic hardware and software systems focused on real-time control, data collection, tele-operation, visualization and breakthrough physical AI application and robotic manipulation case developments.Responsibilities:Development of electronic hardware, integrated advanced sensors for wearable devices and robotic electronic skin systems for embodied robotics, humanoids and physical AI.Testing and validation of electronic hardware, firmware, sensor arrays and integrated components in real-time and closed-loop scenarios.Development and implementation of firmware, embedded programming designed for working with embodied hardware and integrated sensors.Develop automated testing equipment, jigs and methods to ensure firmware and hardware's reliability, accuracy and durability, and test and validate durability and reliability.Work with manufacturers, suppliers, chip makers, and partners for developing large scale manufacturing, parts and sourcing.Work with other team members to gather data and develop and help with software, algorithms, data analysis, demo and LLM developments.Teamwork to achieve overall objectives of the projects, stick to milestones and product targets.Be open to new ideas, incorporate feedback, enjoy start-up culture and ready for bringing new breakthroughs to bring products to market. Lots of growth potential.Be ready for a fast pace work environment and collaborate with leading humanoid and robotic companies.Enjoy a fun, productive, and diverse team environment and engage with different teams.Self-starter, initiating projects, taking ownership and do what it takes to get the job done.Minimum Qualifications:BS or Graduate Degree in Electrical, Computer, Computer Science, Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering2+ year of industry experience working on related topicsExperience with robotic systems, embedded sensors, robotics interactions, processor architecture, analog and digital circuit design and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S, etc.Strong experience in ROS, python or other operating systems and platform software systemsExperience in movement and biomechanics applicationsExperience in use of IMUs and other wearable sensorsExperience in optimizing performance and memory usage for resource constrained embedded systemsExperience in PCB design, fabrication, soldering and other hardware fabrication and maintenancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with battery operated designs and power management solutions for handheld, wearables and robotic systemsExperience in computer vision and working with cameras and multimodal sensing inputsHands on experience with signal integrity toolsExperience in designing products for WiFi, Bluetooth other wireless communication protocolsWell-versed in Object Oriented Programming, data structures and algorithmsStrong communication and documentation skills and ability to operate independentlyStrong problem-solving skills, big picture thinking skills and efficient work and project planning skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environmentFamiliarity with working with novel ideas, early stage prototype development and nuances related to early stage start-upEmployment Type: Full-timeLocation: Vancouver, BC, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
