Overview Be among the first 25 applicants Responsibilities Closely work with PO/BSA/POD team to gain an understanding of business requirements, design and create test plans, test cases, and participate in all aspects of testing. Create test plan and walkthrough with POD Team and obtain all required approvals. Attend pre-PI and PI meetings and ensure QE activities are properly forecasted for the upcoming PI. Provide support to the QE lead/QE Manager with tasks and ad hoc requests as required. Design effective test scenarios/test cases using automated-based approaches and test design techniques. Leverage existing automation frameworks, tools, and artefacts to ensure testing is continuous, comprehensive, and autonomous. Create defects in JTMF and conduct triage. Actively work with the automation lead and support automation initiatives. Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements Minimum 6 to 8 years mainframe testing experience (Mainframe Screen/Database IMS DB & DB2). Strong BFS domain knowledge with applications such as Investments (GIC/TFSA/RSP/Term etc), Deposit accounts, Loans, Line of credit, Debit cards, Credit cards, ATM & POS. Hands-on API testing experience and creating test scripts with Java, Selenium, Rest Assured. Experience in creating automation frameworks and modifying existing frameworks. Experience with developing API automated test scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines for functional and nonfunctional automation using available frameworks. Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and value-driven outcomes with multiple stakeholders. Hands-on experience with GIT (Bitbucket) version control. Hands-on experience in Jira/JTMF and Confluence. Experience with test data management tools. Hands-on experience in Java, SQL, Selenium, code reviews, and automation. Experience participating in requirements, architecture, and design specification reviews. Strong knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing. Experience working with scrum teams to identify testing needs and opportunities. SAFe/Scrum certification is a plus. Familiarity with batch testing and Host file creation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
