Work setting Machinery installation Maintenance Service Machine set-up Responsibilities Assemble mechanical equipment Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions Repair or replace defective machinery parts Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up Operate machining tools to fabricate parts Installing machinery and equipment Operate hoisting and lifting equipment Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Credentials Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification Equipment and machinery experience Fans and blowers Hydraulic system Industrial and stationary engine Lathes and other machining tools Power tools Press brakes and metalworking equipment Pumps and compressors Welding equipment Area of specialization Start-up and testing Shutdown operations Rigging and handling Troubleshooting Bearing, seals and packing Hydraul and fluids Security and safety Basic security clearance Driving record check (abstract) Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Work under pressure Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Team player Disability benefits Paramedical services coverage Group insurance benefits Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Other benefits Learning/training paid by employer Who can apply for this job?
