We are seeking a Multimedia Producer to join our team at U+ Toastmasters. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community while promoting our public speaking and leadership programs.Summary: U+ Toastmasters' Youth Volunteer Connects Program is funded by Canada Service Corps, empowering youth to gain experience and build skills while giving back to their community.Responsibilities:Oversee planning, development, and execution of performing arts productions.Secure funding and manage budgets, grants, sponsorships, and ticket sales.Hire and coordinate with directors, cast, crew, designers, and technical staff.Schedule rehearsals, performances, and promotional events.Ensure compliance with contracts, union regulations, and safety standards.Promote productions through marketing campaigns, press releases, and community outreach.Oversee logistics such as venue booking, equipment rentals, and technical support.Evaluate production success and prepare reports for stakeholders.Requirements: We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and excited to support our mission. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to completing basic training. Fluency in English and a Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (if over 18) are required.Bonus Skills: Previous experience and fluency in another language besides English are an asset.This is a virtual opportunity, and we are looking for individuals who are 12-30 years old.
