Inside Sales – Construction

As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for generating sales leads, engaging with potential customers, and closing deals primarily through phone calls, emails, and online communications. Your role involves understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate construction products, and providing exceptional customer service to drive sales and build lasting relationships. You will also be working closely with your outside sales team representative.About the Position:Attending customers by telephone, email, or in person at the counterSupport Outside Sales staff with customer order entry, expediting, and quotationsMaintain quality service by following organizational standardsProvide technical support on product selection and applicationProactively handle incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Will solicit orders from existing and new customer baseCoordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests, including, but not limited to, order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit, and claimsHandle written correspondence received from and sent to customers in a timely mannerMaintain the merchandise on display and the counter areaAssist in the receiving and delivery of the productQualifications:Knowledge of Construction products and applications is an assetCounter experience is an assetExhibits excellent time management and organizational skillsAble to prioritize work; be flexibleConsistently able to meet deadlines competently and timelyPractice excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and WordPreferred Skills and Experience:Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tactWorking knowledge of PC’s including Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externallyAdditional Benefits:Health and dental benefitsCorporate fitness membership programAuto allowance programPaid training/upgradingIf this is the job for you, please send along your resume to: Greer Grady by email: ggrady@birdstairs.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
