SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

SALARY OFFERED: 47000$

Reporting to the Administration Supervisor, the Administration Clerk is responsible for daily administrative tasks related to the distribution center in order to maximize efficient customer service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Support national office administrative tasks as needed.
  • Participate in the daily invoicing of orders and receipt of purchase orders.
  • Participate in inventory control.
  • Classify, photocopy and scan documents on a daily basis.
  • Participate in cross-checking sales order confirmations to ensure accuracy.
  • Sort incoming and outgoing courier packages and mail and ensure distribution to the appropriate person or department.
  • Ensure the management of goods return procedures.
  • Code general accounts and prepare accounts payable for payment.
  • Assist in tasks related to maintaining an office environment.
  • Participate in processing vendor complaints for branches and national accounts.
  • Generate and distribute the various daily reports.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Excellent organization.
  • Minimum two years of experience in office work.
  • Professional telephone skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment, such as photocopying and scanning equipment.
  • Use of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Linguistic Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of French and intermediate knowledge of English.

Education

High school diploma.
