OverviewTrack and manage software licenses to ensure compliance and avoid overspendingUse your analytical skills, including the ability to run reports and provide data to various stakeholdersProvide data and insights to support strategic decisions about software investments and usageMonitor and ensure software is used efficiently and identify areas for optimization and cost savingsEstablish ongoing policies and procedures surrounding the acquisition, documentation, deployment, usage and retirement of softwareManage software Cradle-to-Grave, ensuring removal of software applications that are no longer needed or usedIdentify and mitigate potential risks associated with software, such as security vulnerabilities and compliance issuesWorking with various stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, and Procurement, to ensure effective software asset managementWork with Legal and CSOC to ensure that software usage complies with licensing agreements and legal requirementsAssist, support, participate, and execute any software auditsEnforce compliance with our Security Policies and our server and end-use devise standards and protocolsCommunicate and educate members of other functions on SAM policies, procedures, processes, and practicesReduce the risk of security breaches, data loss, and other potential issues associated with softwareStreamline licensed software deployment and management processes to improve overall efficiencyWhat you must have5+ years of direct Software Asset Management (SAM) experience, preferably in enterprise environmentsAdvanced experience with enterprise SAM platforms (ServiceNow, Snow, Flexera, or similar)Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently to build processes and frameworksAdvanced analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenProfessional SAM certification preferred (IAITAM, Snow certifications, or equivalent)Expert knowledge of MS licensing models and cloud licensing optimizationSalary / Rate Range : $110,000-$130,000CADThank you for your interest in this opportunity.
