p>Wood is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Sarnia, ON to expand our team within the Oil, Gas & New Energies Canada business. The successful candidate will be engaged in projects across several areas including oil and gas (upstream, midstream, downstream), energy transition and petrochemical industries.We are seeking experienced engineers with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance across the full life cycle of projects, including study phase, DBM, FEED and Detailed Design. Applicants with strong technical and communication skills, and technical safety experience in the above industries, should apply.Our team has a long history of delivering some of the biggest and most complex projects in the Canadian oilsands, along with associated pipelines and refinery infrastructure. Wood has a strong presence in energy transition supporting the rapidly growing decarbonization and renewables industry in Canada and across the globe.Use strong technical knowledge to complete process engineering deliverables and tasks with minimal guidance and direction.Conduct process equipment and line sizing and optimize process control strategy to support PFD and P&ID development.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines. li>Complete conceptual studies through to detail engineering stages within timeline and budget.Coordinate/Supervise a team of process engineers offering support and guidance to junior and intermediate process engineers.Perform checking of all process engineering deliverables in accordance with industry codes, standards and guidelines, and client specifications.Conduct regular reporting, scheduling, resource planning and coordination with workshare offices.Keep updated on technical skills and on new technologies in industry.Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with the majority spent working in refining, petrochemicals or oil & gas industries.Strong written and oral communication (English) skills.Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals.Must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines across multiple projects.Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
