Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement the overall QA strategy, including test planning and automation for our software products.
  2. Lead and mentor the QA team in adopting best practices for testing and quality assurance.
  3. Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
  4. Architect, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks, expanding coverage across multiple layers (UI, API, backend).
  5. Ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines include automated tests.
  6. Monitor and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and regression testing, collaborating with development teams to analyze root causes and improve stability.
  7. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  8. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  9. Conduct performance, scalability, and security testing to ensure products meet high-quality standards, identifying bottlenecks and addressing performance issues with engineering teams.
  10. Define and track key quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of QA processes, providing regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and overall quality status.
  11. Continuously evaluate and refine QA processes and methodologies to improve efficiency, staying updated with emerging tools and technologies to enhance practices.
Requirements
  1. 8-12 years of manual/automation testing experience.
  2. Experience with workflow engines or SOAR products used at scale.
  3. Knowledge of all types of testing – UI, System, Functional, Integration, Regression testing.
  4. Flexibility to work on different types of testing Automation, Manual, API, Performance etc.
  5. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  9. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming or scripting languages, database technologies, and networking fundamentals.
  10. Good understanding of Linux commands.
  11. Work experience in Product Company and security domain are added advantages.
  12. Hands-on experience in at least one programming language (Java/Python).
  13. Self-driven, passionate, a team player with a 'can do' attitude.
  14. Ability to interpret directions and work independently to ensure work gets accomplished in a timely manner consistent with software quality assurance best practices.
  15. Knowledge of SOAR/SIEM platforms, working with SOC teams will be an advantage.
