Collaborate and coordinate with team members and stakeholders — including architects, engineers, and contractors — to ensure project goals and design requirements are achieved. Prepare, review, and approve structural drawings, plans, and technical specifications. Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate structural conditions, providing recommendations and implementing corrective measures as needed. Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in structural engineering and construction, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba. Class 5 Manitoba Drivers License Minimum of three (3) years of experience in structural engineering. Experience with precast concrete design considered an asset. Strong understanding of Manitoba building codes, standards, and construction practices. Proficiency in structural analysis software. Experience with drafting software, such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit (Structural BIM). Excellent communication, customer service, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
