Position AI Annotation Expert Type Hourly contractor Compensation $40/hr Location Remote Duration 4–5 weeks Commitment Up to 40 hours/week Role Responsibilities Analyze short video clips and images to produce structured annotations capturing subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal dynamics, mood, and storytelling elements. Collaborate directly with Mercor’s project leads to enhance AI systems' understanding of complex visual and narrative information. Apply judgment to decide attributes that best describe scenes and express subtle narrative or emotional cues. Document findings clearly and follow precise instructions while quickly adopting new requirements. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance. Qualifications Experience in roles like movie producers, film editors, screenwriters, archivists, media analysts, or generalists. Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow precise instructions and quickly adopt new requirements. Start Date Rolling start dates; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
