This position has responsibility for administration, support, design, and planning of the organization’s global production infrastructure. This 3rd‑level support position has responsibility of being a subject matter expert in multiple platforms/systems, maintaining 24x7x365 system availability.What The Role OffersTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Windows Server operating system.Responsible for building, deploying, and patching Linux servers.Provide 24/7 ‘tier3’ on‑call support of specific production systems as required.Design and implement technical solutions to support business requirements.Work with VMware administration.Experience managing certificates.Experience with server security and hardening.What You Need To SucceedBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience as a Windows Server Systems Administrator in a medium to large‑scale environment.Expert knowledge of Windows Server administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.Expert knowledge in the administration of Windows infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and File servers.Experience managing users and groups in Microsoft Entra ID.Experience managing centralized configuration and patch management tools (e.g., Configuration Manager).Proficient at scripting for automation or user management in PowerShell.Strong team player, working in a globally dispersed team.Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
