How Youll Make an Impact :You will be responsible for leading and optimizing retail food operations at the site. You will oversee daily activities work closely with the executive chef to deliver exceptional menu offerings and promotions manage performance and guide a high-performing team. Your efforts will ensure operational excellence compliance with all standards and a positive experience for customers while driving the achievement of annual retail objectives.As a Food Service Manager you will :Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing retail food operations for the siteDirect daily operations including working with the executive chef on menus and promotions purchasing / ordering inventory schedulingManage financials for the retail program including labour cost food cost inventory equipment and materialsSupervise mentor and monitorsupervisors and evaluateperformance to ensure a high level of productivity and the best use of team member capabilitiesEnsure that the annual retail objectives are achievedMaintain operating standards and implement quality improvementsPromote and assist in the marketing of the retail programConstant analysis of the retail performance; identifying efficiencies and areas of opportunityEnsure compliance of all Company and Client standards and Provincial / Federal LegislationEnsure compliance to all Food Safety and Physical Safety Policies and ProceduresQualifications :What Youll Need to Succeed :Minimum 2years experience in a busy retail environment In a management roleAbility not only to lead the team to deliver on an innovative and high-quality retail program including branded concepts but also to lead and inspire your team to look for ways to improve on what we already do to ensure we are exceeding the students expectations.Experience in running and evaluating successful promotionsAbility to work under pressure in a fast paced team-centric and safety driven environmentProven organizational skills and strong computer / technology capabilities including Microsoft Office use and Social MediaProven cash handling experienceExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers clients and staffAbility to work problem solve and provide solutions independentlyGenuine desire to provide customer service experiences beyond expectationsA passion for food people and service excellenceA genuine desire to grow and learnAdditional Information :What Makes Sodexo Different :Working with Sodexo is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater because we believe our everyday actions have a big impact.
