Job Description
Manager, Financial Reporting reports to Director, Financial Reporting and is responsible for accounting functions related to preparation of financial statements and supporting audit of financial statements for SS&C clients - U.S. and Canadian based unregistered investment companies (hedge funds and private equity funds).

- Collaborates with the Fund Accounting department and supervises junior Financial Reporting staff in order to assure effective financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
- Drafts financial statements note disclosures based on legal documents and updates presentation of core financial statements and financial statements note disclosures to reflect requirements of newly adopted accounting pronouncements.
- Communicates with the clients and the auditors on an ongoing basis to assure effective planning and issue resolution.
- Provides on-the-job training and oversees performance of junior Financial Reporting staff.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience working in a public accounting setting auditing financial statements for investment companies or 5+ years of experience working in a similar role in a fund administration setting overseeing preparation of financial statements for investment companies.
- US GAAP expertise, in particular with respect to ASC 946 Financial Services – Investment Companies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
