The Description

The Department of Business Administration and Tourism and Hospitality Management is seeking to fill one tenure stream position in Marketing at the Assistant Professor level, commencing July 1, 2024. The successful candidate will be teaching classes primarily at the Introductory level. Teaching interest and experience in consumer behaviour, retail management, sales force management, and/or marketing strategy would be considered as asset. Evidence of an emerging research program, or clear evidence of scholarly research potential, is required.

Preference will be given to applicants who hold a PhD or a DBA in a relevant field, or are close to completion. Applicants with a relevant Master Degree may be considered if they possess 10+ years of relevant and recent experience in the field of marketing. Teaching experience at the university level is an asset. The required workload for this role includes teaching, scholarly research, and collegial service.

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Agreement with the Mount Saint Vincent University Faculty Association. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
