Englobe Western Canada Building Group is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join our Edmonton office.

Your Contribution

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and success of our Electrical Engineering team. This position will report directly to the Senior Project Manager.

  • Participate in all projects, providing guidance, client input/feedback, and general direction.
  • Work with the design team to develop and monitor electrical design strategies for building construction.
  • Develop relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel.
  • Meet with clients regarding projects, progress reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate the preparation of engineering specifications and drawings, quantity, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure the electrical drawings and specifications meet established project criteria and applicable standards.
  • Utilize industry-specific software and related technologies in design and analysis.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other documentation.
  • Estimate and schedule projects, procure materials, and maintain company-related resources.
  • Review project financials and provide direction on project invoicing.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.

Your Profile

  • Degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution in electrical engineering (Engineering, CAD Design, Technologies, or Project Management).
  • LEED accreditation and experience with sustainable design initiatives is an asset.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in consulting electrical design engineering for buildings or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, along with AutoCAD drafting experience.
  • Experience with Revit is an asset.
