Chance to contribute to meaningful initiatives that promote justice, truth, and transparency.What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)Define and maintain scalable system architectures using AWS or other major cloud providers.Architect and manage container orchestration solutions to optimize deployment and resource usage.Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling in Python, focusing on performance and maintainability.Integrate security best practices and compliance standards throughout the DevOps lifecycle.Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and deployment strategies.What is Required (Qualifications)4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience designing and supporting production environments with a focus on automation and reliability.Strong expertise in AWS or other major cloud providers and container orchestration technologies.Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python.Knowledge of cloud security and experience implementing compliance with government regulations.How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Experience with modern cloud design patterns, such as microservices and blue/green deployments.Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, and Grafana.Comfort with autonomous decision-making in a distributed, remote-first team environment.Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
