div>Your Opportunity:An exciting opportunity exists in Central Zone as a Speech Language Pathologist responsible for the management of adult clients referred with swallowing and communication difficulties. Services will be provided in two to four rural communities within Central Zone and will span the continuum of care: acute care hospital sites, long term care sites, and outpatients. The position will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in each community to manage caseload and ensure efficient service delivery. div>Description:As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide clinical professional practice both independently and as a part of a collaborative team, which may include external partners. You will be responsible for providing prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management. You will participate in the planning, coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals and other partners. You will use your clinical expertise to inform ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development.
