Responsibilities: Design, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems with a focus on transformers and high-voltage switchyards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of components into projects. Provide technical expertise during planning, implementation, and maintenance phases. Stay updated on industry advancements, offering innovative solutions for enhanced systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations through active participation in reviews and audits. Generate detailed documentation for electrical schematics, diagrams, and reporting. Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure optimal system functionality. Collaborate with vendors to source quality components and equipment. Assess and improve existing systems for performance optimization and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional Engineering license (P. Eng.) required. 5-8 years of electrical engineering experience, with 3-5 years in nuclear-related projects. Expertise in transformers and high-voltage switchyards projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with industry codes and standards. Commitment to safety protocols. Security clearance with OPG and/or Bruce Power.
