As a senior practitioner, you will be involved in staff development including training, and coordination and quality control for junior and intermediate staff in the Group.A Day in the Life of Senior Project Manager at Pinchin
Manage or provide technical support on spills, investigations, and remediation projects across Ontario and Canada to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.Perform other areas of project-related financial management.Build leadership and mentorship skills by working with and mentoring junior staff.Communicate with Clients and understand their project requirements.A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Geology, or related Science.Licensed Professional in Ontario in a respective discipline (P.is required, or an ability to obtain the License within one year from employment.A minimum of 10-15 years of environmental consulting experience with a significant portion as a project manager for environmental site assessments, remediation technology evaluation, remediation scope development and detailed specifications, and remediation costing.A good knowledge of how risk assessments and remediation are complementary.Exposure to a variety of remediation technologies, implementation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the remediation treatment systems.Strong working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04, and other applicable environmental regulations in Ontario (at a minimum) and across Canada (an asset).Ability to manage multiple long and short-term projects.Proven experience with complicated spill response, site assessment, and remediation projects, as well as knowledge/experience with key contractors performing this work across Ontario.Proven proficiency in invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project-related financial management.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).A challenging, rewarding leadership position with the opportunity to mentor junior technical professionals.Casual dress code.An environment that supports work-life harmonization.Corporate Discount Program.No Agency phone calls please.Pinchin Ltd. is a multidisciplinary consulting firm that provides a wide range of engineering, building sciences, geosciences, environmental, and occupational health and safety solutions across Canada and the US.
