Retail Shift Leader at Canna Cabana The Shift Leader will report to the Store Manager and is responsible for supervising and facilitating the daily operations of the store, ensuring staff supervision, customer satisfaction, service quality, store maintenance, and health and safety compliance. Job Types Part-time, Permanent Responsibilities Perform shift leader duties as needed. Help store management supervise and facilitate daily operations. Responsible for opening/closing of the store based on operational hours. Oversee store responsibilities in the absence of SM or ASM and seek help from management as needed. Assist in the delivery of key personnel management on shift and resolve customer service issues as needed. Provide direction, guidance, and instruction to all shift leaders as required. Ensure store conditions consistently uphold established standards. Assist in ensuring staffing levels adequately meet business needs, as requested. Be the sales and customer service leader in the absence of SM/ASM. Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff. Ensure company policies and legislation are consistently adhered to by all staff. Handle customer complaints and escalating them appropriately. Ensure health, safety, and security regulations are met on shift. Achieve sales targets and store level KPIs. Ensure employees on shift actively pursue sales goals. Balance store floats and complete daily deposits. Oversee inventory management and be accountable for inventory processes on shift. Maintain possession of store keys as per the signed key holder agreement. Complete e-learning courses on the company portal within the first month. Other duties as required. Completion of high school and college/technological training. Demonstrated sales and service orientation. Valid CannSell certification as per AGCO. Clean and clear police background check. Ability to work any shift, Monday to Sunday. Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and different locations. Minimum of 2 years’ retail experience, cannabis preferred. Excellent time management and prioritizing skills. Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff. Basic office administration skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Effective teamwork skills. Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills. Professional, positive work attitude. Working Conditions Manual dexterity to use desktop computers and peripherals. Work with flexible schedule; weekends and evenings may be required. Lifting, moving or manipulating objects up to 10 kilograms. Some travel may be required for business needs.
