Position: Editor Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: $65–$115/hour Location: US, UK, or Canada Duration: 3–4 weeks Commitment: 15+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Design questions related to editorial work for a leading AI company. Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs. Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and coverage across datasets. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance. Qualifications 4+ years full-time work experience as an Editor. Be based in the US, UK, or Canada. Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks). Compensation & Legal At-will contractor to Mercor. Paid weekly via Stripe Connect. Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
