p>On behalf of our client in Victoria, BC, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Senior Business Solutions Lead for a 1-year contract position. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days of on-site work per week.

Role

The Business Solution Lead manages the health and roadmap of the Oracle Fusion system.


Responsibilities

  • Own and be the expert for the Oracle Fusion ERP System, covering 26 modules related to HR, Procurement, Finance, and more.
  • Provide and lead a clear governance structure for managing the roadmap, based on business priorities, risks, and constraints.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Collaborate with the support team to monitor system health, resolve recurring issues, and ensure business continuity.
  • Coordinate with the AMS support vendor and Oracle to meet service agreements, resolve incidents, and plan for quarterly updates.
  • Provide guidance on process optimization based on Oracle’s best practices and business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing improvements in technical processes.
  • Recommend ways to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Manage and prioritize change requests and enhancements.
  • Work with ITS, business experts, vendors, and team members for successful system updates.
  • Stay informed about Oracle releases and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Support functional and technical tasks to achieve project benefits.
  • Facilitate communication between functional and technical teams.
  • Ensure decisions align with business goals and user needs.
  • Ensure successful data migration to Oracle Fusion.
  • Collaborate with the implementation partner and AMS vendor to ensure proper system configurations.
  • Guide the testing process for Oracle Fusion, including validation scripts and outcomes.
  • Oversee quality assurance for functional and technical outputs.
  • Proactively identify risks and work with the project team to resolve issues.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and challenges to the Lead Project Manager and Director, BTO.
  • Escalate critical issues to the Lead Project Manager and Director, BTO.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the Oracle Fusion SAAS platform.
  • Leadership experience in managing complex ERP systems and transformations.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with teams to improve Oracle Fusion usage and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to analyze user data and insights to enhance digital services.
  • Technical expertise in Oracle Fusion configuration and support.
  • Degree or diploma in technology, product management, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with agile project management, cloud platforms, and digital services.
  • Strong business analysis skills and ability to prioritize goals.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience managing changes and releases for ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of user experience practices, including content design and data architecture.
