Field Service Technician – Secure Power – Cooling HVAC Join to apply for the Field Service Technician – Secure Power – Cooling HVAC role at Schneider Electric. Key Responsibilities Cooling engineer specializing in Uniflair and APC cooling systems. Ensure optimal performance and reliability of cooling infrastructure in routine maintenance and emergency situations. Perform start‑up/commissioning of all APC‑Uniflair equipment across single and multi‑module systems. Provide data‑center assembly services and basic DCIM configuration for cooling integration. Document all required information for each site visit and maintain accurate logs. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve cooling efficiency and educate customers on basic operation. Assist Service Partners – Secure Power during site visits. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Certifications Licensed HVAC technician with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Schneider Electric cooling systems. Expertise in Uniflair and APC DX cooling models, chilled‑water systems, and large chiller operations. Strong understanding of HVAC principles, schematics, blueprints, preventive maintenance, emergency repair, and energy efficiency optimization. Proficiency in safety regulations and industry standards, with strong problem‑solving and communication skills. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and to present information to senior managers and clients. Proficient computer skills (email, database, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics). 313A Commercial HVAC License or 50 % toward obtaining the license. APC & Uniflair cooling certification (asset).
