Tax Advisor & Preparer – Personal & Corporate Returns Join FBC Farm and Small Business Tax Consultants in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This full‑time permanent position is hybrid, requiring travel to meet members at their place of business. Position Overview As a Tax Advisor, you will meet clients, understand their financial situations, and provide tailored tax strategies to minimize taxes. You will introduce members to FBC’s full range of services, including bookkeeping, legal assistance, payroll, and financial and estate planning. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional tax and accounting advice to members. Review and file complex personal (T1) and corporate (T2) income tax returns. Develop and implement tax planning strategies for a variety of clients, including farm and small business owners. Maintain strong client relationships as the primary contact for key accounts. Conduct member reviews. Support seasonal and year‑round reconciliations and filings (GST/HST, T1, T2, and other applicable tax returns). Foster relationships and secure member referrals. Recognize member needs and connect them with other domain experts. What You Will Bring Education and Experience Comprehensive experience with at least one full corporate tax cycle (3+ cycles is a strong asset). Advanced knowledge of Canadian tax laws and regulations (T1, T2, T3). Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and accounting teams. Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software such as Taxprep/IFirm, Xero, or Profile. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Experience with agriculture and/or preparing returns for farms and small businesses. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Superior client service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines. Dedicated to providing financial support that empowers clients. Strong strategic thinking and analysis with ability to provide customized recommendations. Other Requirements This role requires travel and a reliable vehicle. Why FBC?
