Audit Manager | CPA | $140K–$150K | Hybrid | Public Accounting Firm – Toronto 📍 Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid) 💼 Job Type: Full-Time 💰 Compensation: $140,000 – $150,000 📄 Required: CPA Designation | 4–5+ Years Public Practice Experience We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join a reputed mid‑sized public accounting firm in downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate will lead assurance and advisory engagements, manage client portfolios, mentor audit teams, and contribute to practice growth. This role offers a combination of technical work, client leadership, and strategic development. Key Responsibilities Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements Prepare and review financial statements and complex tax returns (T1, T2, T3) Manage engagement planning, timelines, WIP, and billing Ensure compliance with firm and professional standards Build and maintain strong client relationships Identify cross‑selling and business development opportunities Guide, mentor, and supervise junior team members Contribute to internal process improvements and scheduling Must‑Have Qualifications CPA Designation (Mandatory) 4–5+ years public practice experience (mid‑size firm preferred) Strong technical knowledge in audit, assurance, and taxation Experience managing multiple engagements and teamsExcellent communication and client management skills Leadership and mentoring experience Nice to Have Exposure to business development and networking Workflow and billing management experience Interest in developing niche specialization Experience in mid‑size or national accounting firms Why Join?
