Project Control Officer Alternate/Related Job Titles: Project Coordinator • PMO Analyst • Project Administration Specialist Location: Toronto, ON Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite; may increase to 4 days) Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12 months (extension possible) Start: As Soon As Possible Pay Rate: $35 - $45/hr Overtime: No Rotation: No Travel Required: No Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, core business hours Job Summary The Project Control Officer (PCO) supports project governance, reporting, and coordination activities for a major Canadian financial institution. This role manages onboarding tasks, dashboards, reporting, and process support for a large, fast-paced team. The PCO helps ensure project control procedures are consistently executed and supports business-as-usual (BAU) initiatives, customer engagement, and servicing activities. Story Behind the Need Reason for Request: Replacement (Maternity Leave) Scope of Project: Supporting BAU project tasks and acting as PCO for customer engagement and servicing Team Size: 13 Training: Ongoing Key Responsibilities Create Epics for the Onboarding team, upload task lists, and assign tasks to Line-of-Business resources. Monitor onboarding plans, milestones, and dashboards. Troubleshoot and create new ConfiForms as required. Build template decks for Quarterly Townhalls, ensuring all content from AVPs and guest speakers is included and aligned with brand standards. Assist with access requests and support onboarding/offboarding processes. Review new intake requests and identify technology scope, follow up with requestors, and determine priority. Create pipeline IDs, close ServiceNow tasks, and create Confluence "wiki" pages. Provide ongoing support for new resources, including meetings, distribution lists, and welcome communications. Create template pages for business update reports. Update TDAR for newly added application codes. Provide analysis and reporting for the AVP. Create and update management dashboards. Run Clarity reports, ensure hours are billed correctly, and identify missing hours.
