Job SummaryThe VP of Marketing will coordinate and develop marketing policies, programs, and campaigns.Duties/ResponsibilitiesRecruit, interview, hire and train supervisory and management staff in the department.Oversee the daily workflow of the department.Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.Collaborate, participate in, and coordinate promotional activities or trade shows.Negotiate contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.Conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.Direct and implement the organization’s advertising and promotional activities.Analyze target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.Identify new market segments that will benefit from company products.Prepare effective advertising campaigns based on market research.Maintain knowledge of emerging products and services.Collaborate with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.Forecast, draft, implement and oversee the department operating budget.Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesBachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field required; Masters degree preferred.At least ten years of experience in a related field.At least five years of experience in B2B MarketingAbility to create, implement, and monitor budgets.Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
