About the role:
The Senior FP&A Business Partner will play a critical role in driving our reporting, analysis, and insights to guide our business leaders. As part of the larger Strategic Finance team, the FP&A team is focused on delivering value through strategic, operational, and financial planning, aligned with our company’s goals. You will be instrumental in driving insights, supporting decision-making, and optimizing financial performance across the organization.
Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data, define assumptions, develop budgetary guidelines, and ensure adherence to financial targets.Work closely with different business units to understand their financial needs and constraints.Financial Analysis & Insights- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial projections, providing actionable insights.
- Monitor and develop KPIs, identify trends, and work proactively with operational leaders to explore growth opportunities.
- Provide guidance on best practices in financial planning and analysis to enhance overall performance and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure strong data cleanliness and source-of-truth reporting, partnering with Accounting to validate financial accuracy.
- Engage deeply with business partners, including sales and marketing teams, to identify optimization opportunities for revenue growth.
- Support leadership and business partners with insights and analysis, such as ROI, unit economics, scenario analysis, customer lifetime value, and acquisition cost.
- Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives, supporting cross-functional teams with financial modeling and presenting findings to executive stakeholders.
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; li>
- 4+ years of experience as a FP&A Business Partner.
- Experience in FP&A at a SaaS company with a strong understanding of SaaS business metrics and KPIs.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, experience building complex financial models.
- Passion for building data-driven organizations and making a tangible impact on business performance.
- Strong knowledge of Excel is a must; Adaptive, Looker is an asset.
- Experience with business partnering with the sales and marketing operations is an asset.
