About the Team Our team at ZF Automotive Canada Ltd. plays a critical role in supporting our axle assembly plant, which supplies Stellantis with high-quality components. With approximately 300 employees onsite, we work collaboratively to ensure a smooth flow of materials for production. As part of the Material Planning team, you’ll manage parts supply, resolve issues quickly, and analyze supplier releases to guarantee adequate inventory for uninterrupted operations. This is a fast-paced environment where problem-solving and proactive communication are key to keeping production on track. What you can look forward to as a Material Planner Manage parts supply and resolve issues. Analyze supplier releases to ensure adequate production materials. Coordinate expedites from suppliers to meet production requirements. Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production. Identify inventory discrepancies and work closely with the Materials Manager. Communicate all material supply issues to suppliers and relevant salary personnel. Assist with all inventory activities. Work closely with Production to ensure clear communication of material status. Your profile as a Material Planner Post‑secondary education in a related discipline (Business Certificate or Business Degree). 3+ years of experience in an automotive/manufacturing environment with knowledge of vendor scheduling and releasing. Experience with FCA systems (Blue Zone, QAD Supplier Portal, FCA Group E-Supplier, FCA Production Centre). Knowledge of transportation, customs, and freight tenders.
