OverviewCampus Engagement Volunteer – Cancer Awareness & FundraisingAlliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE) is a registered charity in Canada dedicated to advancing equity in cancer care. We believe no one should lose their life to cancer because they cannot afford treatment. We are committed to supporting patients by helping cover the costs of cancer treatment and related expenses, so financial circumstances never determine a patient’s chances of surviving a cancer diagnosis.Join us to build a nationwide movement of students focused on cancer awareness, prevention, and fundraising. You’ll help connect, inspire, and organize university students to create on-campus clubs that champion education, advocacy, and community support for those affected by cancer.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and connect with student leaders and university organizations interested in forming cancer awareness clubs.Support the launch and development of campus clubs by providing guidance, resources, and coordination.Promote the organization’s mission through student events, fundraising drives, and awareness campaigns.Collaborate with the communications team to align campus initiatives with broader campaigns.Track and report campus engagement activities, membership growth, and fundraising outcomes.Represent the organization at student fairs, campus meetings, or online student networks.Encourage peer-to-peer fundraising and volunteer participation among students.Required Skills & QualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to engage and motivate students.Leadership qualities with a passion for community building and social impact.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Creativity and enthusiasm for event planning and student outreach.Comfortable using social media and digital tools for promotion and networking.Self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently or collaboratively with teams.Prior involvement in student organizations, peer leadership, or advocacy is an asset (but not required).Employment DetailsSenioriy level: AssociateEmployment type: VolunteerJob function: OtherIndustries: Civic and Social Organizations and Non-profit Organizations #J-18808-Ljbffr
