Site Surveyor – Wates Group Join to apply for the Site Surveyor role at Wates Group. We are looking for an experienced Site Surveyor to join our WPS Planned Maintenance team in the Wolverhampton area. You will be working with an experienced team and helping to deliver projects for one of our long‑standing social housing partners. The role is split between office work and travelling to client sites, so a driving licence is a must. Key responsibilities include: Producing applications, accounts and invoices in the appropriate format in a timely manner. Ensuring all costs incurred in the delivery of the service are appropriately coded, recorded, authorised and recovered. Assisting in the production of management information and performance reports (internal and external) monthly in approved formats. Maintaining commercial WIP and debt to an absolute minimum in line with targets set by management. Ensuring the timely production of valuations leading to invoice production within 9 calendar days of works completion. Providing support and enhancing communication between WPS and the client. Qualifications and experience: Financial and commercial awareness with a clear commitment to a customer‑centred service. Experience in a similar position within the social housing sector preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of legislation in maintenance and property management. Valid driving licence. Background checks: Will need a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at offer stage.
