We are always searching for new and talented people who share our values and are dedicated to the continued success of this company.As a Service Plumber, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial and / or industrial plumbing systems, piping and fixtures.Compensation aspects of the role are dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesInspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and industrial sitesTroubleshoot plumbing problems and replace / repair systems, piping and fixtures as neededDiagnose problems, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to piping, fixtures and associated components.Read blueprints and have knowledge of plumbing codes to diagnose and repair issuesComplete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld deviceWork independently, and as part of a team, to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frameOperate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territoryAbility to climb and work off ladders, at varying heightsPerform other related duties or special projects, as assignedEducation, Training, Licenses and/or CertificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial plumbing systems preferredJourneyman plumbing license is a plusBackflow certification is a plusMaster plumbing license is a plusOSHA 10 certification preferredAdditional RequirementsMaintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitudeRequires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.Complies and promotes company Safety PolicyInitiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.Excellent communication and customer services skills.Analytical and problem-solving skillsProfessional demeanor and positive, caring attitude.Must be able to work independently and without supervision.Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.Proficiency with electrical and mechanical diagnosticsFamiliarity with blueprint, schematic, drawingsAbility to pass a full background screening and drug screeningAbility to pass MVR check (if applicable) or must have reliable transportationAbility to pass a physical ability testAbility to travel, as needed, for projectsDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
