Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will work collaboratively with the Finance Team, Decision Support, Clinical Information Services and the Leadership Team of Guelph General Hospital.
The Senior Financial Analyst collaborates with peer analysts and Leadership to support clinical programs, financial analysis and reporting, and uses a quality improvement focus to improve accounting processes both within the department and across the hospital. The Senior Financial Analyst also provides a leadership role to support the Director of Finance, and a peer role to support the Senior Financial Analyst (Finance) and Senior Decision Support Analyst.The Senior Financial Analyst regularly provides analysis and interpretation of financial and statistical information and is responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial information and supports the capital budget process and year-end external audit, and co-leads the preparation of the annual operating budget.
