Your role with us: The Financial Reporting Accountant will support strategic decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. The Financial Reporting Accountant collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial health and operational efficiency across the organization. This role is also responsible for analyzing production costs, overseeing inventory costing and absorption, and maintaining the cost accounting data in the ERP. You will bring to the role: Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial reporting and/or analysis role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Accounting designation (CGA, CMA or CA) is required. Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in oil and gas, or high technology industries is an asset. Sound financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid understanding of accounting principles including Standard Costing and Job Costing. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft suite. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to stakeholders.
