Our client’s Professional Services organization is responsible for the successful implementation of their CRM solutions to deliver business value to their customers. It is one of the largest and most critical groups in this software company. Examples of the projects and solutions that they have delivered for customers include: Master data management store for a fully integrated solution reflecting the sophisticated relationship modeling needs of a leading global private wealth management firm, servicing high-net worth individuals in 6 countries on 3 continents. State‑of‑the‑art integrated broker serving as a client‑centric hub for access to demographic and financial data, interactions, and transactional tools, for 40,000 users of a global wealth management company Integrated Agent Desktop solution for 17,000 call center, agency, and management users at a large mid‑western P&C insurance company expanding nationally Integrated disease screening solution to identify and screen individuals at risk for colorectal cancer. Position Accountabilities The Professional Services Consultant (Deployment Specialist) has accountability for successfully installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of our client’s software solution into their customers’ integrated technology infrastructure. This includes: Gathering, analyzing, and documenting customer infrastructure requirements Deploying, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting on J2EE database systems, Exchange, and Blackberry applications, for one or many customer site implementations throughout the Software Development Lifecycle Position Requirements This position requires a highly-focused, technically skilled individual who has been exposed to professional services practices, project management, and software development. A strong desire to accelerate your career by working in a high growth, fast paced environment, with the confidence to be a key contributor on a young, energetic and driven team, is essential. Key requirements include: Software engineering, computer science, or related technical degree with 0-3 years of experience (including co‑operative work terms and internships), working in a technical capacity in a software development environment Experience with JBoss and or WebSphere Knowledge of web technologies such as IIS, Apache, client‑server interactions Knowledge of relational database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 Experience with Windows, Linux, and Solaris setup and configuration Experience with Windows or Linux command line scripting Experience with Exchange setup and configuration and Exchange topologies (Preferred) Exposure and experience with application/infrastructure tuning fundamentals Additional assets: CCNA, MCSE or MCSA Knowledge or experience with the SDLC using Agile Scrum development and/or Waterfall project management methodologies and standards Strong communicator with demonstrated confidence Customer focused with a high degree of professionalism If you're not interested, but know someone who is; please help a current or former colleague in their career development by referring them.
