The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and team development to support efficient, continuous production on the day shift.What's In It For You?Competitive Base SalaryComprehensive Benefits PackageRRSP MatchingWhat You'll Be Responsible For:Planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facility operations to minimize downtime and maximize efficiencyDeveloping and managing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) plan, including budget controlImplementing corrective and preventive actions, and driving continuous improvement initiativesCoordinating with vendors and contractors for parts, tools, and maintenance servicesDiagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesLeading by example, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of accountability and growthEnforcing company policies, safety protocols, and compliance standardsDelegating maintenance assignments to internal staff and third-party contractorsThe Ideal Candidate:Holding a Journeyperson trades certificate (433A or 442A), preferably with Red Seal EndorsementPossessing a college/university diploma or equivalent technical educationBringing 3+ years of experience in steel manufacturing processesDemonstrating strong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsThinking proactively and acting with initiative under pressureShowing mechanical aptitude, creativity, and problem-solving abilityExperienced with ISO 14001 Quality SystemsProficient in MS Office; knowledge of Profit Key and Dayforce considered an assetLogic Executive Search and Workplace Solutions is dedicated to supporting opportunities that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
