What You Will Do Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co‑operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives, with a strong customer focused approach. Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels. Partner with our committed community pharmacy team to provide a full range of pharmacy services. Embrace opportunities to utilize advanced scope of practice. Ensure patient safety through accurate prescription verification, appropriate medication use, and effective patient counseling. Promote quality improvement by identifying and addressing medication errors, workflow inefficiencies, and opportunities to enhance pharmacy services. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Provide education to clients and other healthcare professionals. Prescription processing, dispensing, verification, and required record keeping. Compound in accordance with NAPRA guidelines. Exercise professional judgement and practice within federal, and provincial, legal and regulatory requirements, Pharmacist Code of Conduct, NAPRA standards of practice and Lake Country Co‑op policies. Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy technicians and assistants. Manage inventory, ordering, and control of pharmaceuticals and supplies. No matter the season, there are endless adventure possibilities within an hour’s drive, making Prince Albert like no other place in Canada Who You Are You have an accredited Pharmacy Degree with successful completion of Saskatchewan licensing requirements and are in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals. You have previous Saskatchewan pharmacist experience; Co‑operative Retailing System experience is deemed an asset. You have Saskatchewan’s advanced method certification and are eager to embrace advanced scope of practice. You are fluent with Kroll Pharmacy Software and thrive on innovation and technology. You have demonstrated a proven commitment to patient safety, accuracy, and continuous quality improvement. You have demonstrable professional competencies coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills. You possess strong clinical, analytical, and technical skills, are attentive to detail and able to remain calm under pressure. You are a motivated life‑long learner. You have the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced retail pharmacy environment.
