Pharmacy Manager – Loblaw Companies Limited Join the teams of Loblaw Companies Limited and help deliver an exceptional pharmacy experience across Canada. As Pharmacy Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Pharmacy Operations and be responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time, maintaining adequate inventory levels, and providing counseling and documentation to patients. You will also supervise and guide staff, manage budgets, and ensure the financial and operational success of the department. What You’ll Do Supervise and provide guidance and direction to staff Hire, manage performance, and develop staff Ensure the financial and operational success of the department Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients Maintain adequate inventory levels of medications and over‑the‑counter supplements Provide counseling to patients regarding new and additional medications Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities (public health days, clinics, etc.) Respond promptly and positively to patient needs and doctor requests/issues Obtain and review budgeted sales and net contribution Identify and report sales opportunities internally and externally Control costs at all levels within the Loblaw Pharmacy dispensary What You’ll Need Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail pharmacy environment Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Strong people‑management skills and the ability to motivate and coach staff Excellent problem‑solving skills and experience formulating and executing action plans Computer literacy, with knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems considered an asset Benefits & Work Environment We offer comprehensive training, flexible scheduling, a competitive benefits package, and a focus on sustainability and social impact that guides our day‑to‑day operations.
