BDP International serves over 5,000 customers, including multinational companies in various verticals.

Responsibilities:

You will coordinate export trafficking functions, data entry, and document distribution duties associated with customer export shipments through BDP.

  1. Order Processing: Receive documents and initiate logging process, confirm data received complies with all US Customs requirements, process documents according to requirements, coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup and delivery, finalize billing and distribute documents as required.
  2. Shipment Status reporting: Review daily monitoring reports, ensure all standards are met, and proactively report non-conformances.
  3. Maintenance: Ensure all tables are complete and current, assist in accounting issues, perform RFI/RFQ as required, and ensure communications are prompt and content is accurate.
  4. Prepare export declarations and related Bills of Lading in Ocean Exports.
  5. Coordinate the outbound movement of international freight shipments.
  6. Establish rates and services with third-party carriers.
  7. Knowledge of interpreting Letters of Credit is an asset.
Job Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate has two to three years of experience handling ocean or air export functions.
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • You must be able to work in a fast-paced office.
  • Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills are required.
  • You must possess a strong teamwork attitude.
  • Leadership experience is desired.
  • You must be PC literate with MS Office applications.
