You are a strategic HR leader with expertise in compensation, benefits, and recognition, skilled at aligning rewards strategies with organizational goals and anticipating workforce needs. You inspire and coach your team to deliver high-quality results, while leveraging data, insights, and trends to enhance programs and drive continuous improvement. You have:University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study - or an equivalent combination of education, training and experienceMinimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, preferably in a unionized environment within a broader public sector agency and/or medium to large private/public corporation, including at least 3 years in program or people leadership rolesExpertise in administering compensation and benefits and recognition programsKnowledge of pension plan design and administration requirementsExperience with labour and compensation legislation including the Employment Standards Act, Pay Equity Act, Pension and Benefits Act, and Labour Relations ActStrong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize new or changing information into actionable recommendationsExcellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, combined with tact, diplomacy, and objectivityStrong leadership skills to manage, coach, and mentor staff while delivering on strategic objectivesWillingness to travel to head office, field offices and corporate events across Ontario as needed Nice to have: What you will do:Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of MPAC’s total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, retirement, and recognition initiativesProvide strategic advice and guidance to senior leaders to ensure total rewards programs support MPAC’s business objectives and attract, retain, and engage top talentOversee annual compensation processes, market reviews, pay equity, and job evaluation to ensure compliance, competitiveness, and internal equityManage employee group benefits and retirement programs, leading renewals, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and cost-saving initiativesMonitor trends, legislation, and industry practices to recommend enhancements that improve employee experience and organizational effectivenessManage and coach a team of professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learningPartner with HR and business leaders to deliver effective communications, education, and support for managers and employeesChampion employee engagement through innovative recognition and rewards initiatives, ensuring alignment with MPAC’s culture and values Additional Information:Requisition ID: 2723Job Type: Non-Union ManagementClosing Date: September 22, 2025 Ready to apply?Please note, only applications submitted through the Applicant Tracking System will be accepted.
