The role As the Policy and Data Officer supporting the Local Government Inspector, you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality policy analysis, data insights, and strategic reporting that inform compliance priorities and regulatory decision-making. Drawing on your experience in data interpretation, policy development, and stakeholder engagement, you will play a vital role in shaping proactive regulatory frameworks and contributing to the development of operational guidance and information resources that support effective regulation. Your strong analytical skills and experience in regulatory policy, data analysis, and local government operations will be key to your success in this role. You will bring to the role / team your expertise in interpreting compliance trends, designing performance dashboards, and preparing evidence-based policy advice, and your ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, build collaborative relationships across agencies, and contribute to the development of effective regulatory strategies.
