Intent of the process

The intent of this selection process is to staff a full-time temporary position until March 31, 2027. strong> 1

Information you must provideEssential Qualifications

Education:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, geological engineering, naval architecture or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.

Experience:
- E1 A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a research setting.
- E2 Experience in planning, organizing and coordinating scientific research projects.
- E3 Experience in laboratory experiments, as applied to mineral processing or hydrometallurgy research.

Asset Qualifications

AE1 - Experience in sustainable mineral extraction, bioleaching and biohydrometallurgy processes in mining industries./>- K2 knowledge of how to perform process calculations and analyses.
- K3 knowledge of how to plan and lead applied research and development projects.
- Work under minimal supervision to meet project objectives.
