We are seeking an experienced Developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience to join our innovative team.

You will play a key role in architecting, designing, and implementing solutions for our SaaS products on cloud platforms like GCP or AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API management, integration architecture, and microservices, along with proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Python, or GoLang. You should be well-versed in CI/CD pipelines and possess a passion for driving technical excellence and innovation within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions for SaaS products in GCP or AWS, ensuring adherence to best practices, automation, and observability.
  • Architect and implement robust API management and integration solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Lead team-level learning initiatives to promote adoption of API/microservices architecture patterns and best practices.
  • Interact effectively with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications.
  • Articulate and document technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide rapid troubleshooting and resolution of issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, contributing to team growth and development.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on SaaS products.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, with experience in implementing proper controls, governance, and automation.
  • Strong understanding of API management, integration architecture, and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Python, GoLang.
  • Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines and promoting DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment where decisions impact processes and outcomes.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to organize and lead technical teams effectively.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4W 5R1
