Responsibilities The Manager, Quality and Risk Management, provides strategic guidance and operational leadership for the development and implementation of a quality improvement framework and associated activities across TBRHSC. This position will provide staff with access to best practices, tools and techniques by leading quality improvement activities and also building implementation science capacity in programs and staff. Employment Requirements Degree in business, health or related discipline. Certification in healthcare quality improvement and/or risk management certification required or the ability to attain. Minimum 5-7 years experience in healthcare, quality improvement and/or risk management. Experience leading organization-wide quality improvement initiatives and/or implementation science programs. Skills & Abilities Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Outlook). Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking/problem solving, and conflict resolution skills. Exceptional project management, time management and presentation skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage complex projects. Assets Masters degree. Current registration as a regulated health professional. Previous management experience. Knowledge and experience with contract development and interpretation. Salary Range $60,474 – $71,146 Additional Requirements The Health Sciences Centre strives to ensure the safety and security of the patients, visitors, employees and assets financial and otherwise.
