Overview Are you a newly graduated hair design student who knows they can use more supervised practical experience and further tips from the top stylists in the valley? This program may be a great fit for you. We know that the leap between school and independence behind the chair is often a tricky one, and we want to set up as many people as possible for success as we can. One of the biggest indicators of success is available mentorship, especially in those early months. This supervised practical program provides three months of supervised experience and additional classes to put to practice the opportunity. Limited spots available. Details 3 month Program, 16 weeks, 240–320 hrs scheduledIntermittent shiftsUnpaid What to Expect Supervised appointments Invitation to ongoing pertinent classes Monthly scheduled check‑ins with supervisor which review: Self and supervisor evaluation forms assessing effectiveness of consultation, timing of service, and results. Track # of services performed Client feedback review Final report card and coaching session Experience & Expertise Required Completed basic hair training for 520 hrs Be a willing learner, prepared to attend continued in‑house education Able to execute basic color theory & cuts Cost $950 Additional Information The industry is part of the Refinery House family. It isn’t just a chain of hair salons, it’s a community‑driven, people‑first gathering place, built on the connections between us and our chairs. We’re a green circle salon, certified sustainable by Davines, and currently under review for B Corp certification.
